Excellent food! Highly recommend their pasta dishes. We've had brunch at their other location and that was delicious too.

Called literally 20 minutes before they closed and placed a large take out order. Jeremy not only took the order, but was willing to make sure the team had everything that they needed to have a great meal! All the guys loved the pasta dishes to boot! We done Jeremy and staff! Thanks again!

There is nothing like comforting Italian food on a chilly day! Service was fast and friendly and the food was perfection! I had the salmon special and my son had the Ciao de Pepe and devoured it! The salmon had the crispiest skin ever and was in a delicious lemon caper sauce. Hubs was super happy with his chicken parm as well! Y'all, sorry about the pic but all that was left was empty plates and oh man the tiramisu was gone in two seconds flat!

Had an excellent experience at Scalzotto last night. First and foremost, the food was very good. Everything we ordered was freshly prepared, tasted homemade and presented well. I regret not taking any photos because I wasn't initially planning to write a review. We had their bruschetta appetizer which allowed us to choose any 3 of 5 varieties of bruschetta. We opted for a classic tomato, an Italian sausage and mushroom, and a grilled peach and burrata. All three were excellent. I might have wanted the bread toasted a little more but that is nitpicking. For entrees, I had the chicken Milanese with broccolini and fettuccine Alfredo. My friend has the Italian sausage penne. My chicken dish was prepared very well with two pieces of flattened moist chicken breast pieces with a simple Marsala sauce and mushrooms. The sauce wasn't too sweet and there was just enough sauce to enjoy without overdoing it. The sides (broccolini and fettuccine were ample in portion). The fettuccine was really nice pasta (they make the pasta in-house) and cooked Al dente. Better yet, the kitchen showed restraint with the Alfredo sauce which was also well prepared and appeared homemade. Having just enough sauce for the chicken and the pasta kept the flavors distinct on the plate - it could have been a problem, but was not at all. My friend raved about his penne dish and there was nothing left of any of the food we ordered. I finished things off with an affogato - it was very nice to have the option of selecting any of their in-house made gelatos, but I stuck with the classic vanilla. Nice finish to a very good meal! Our server (Ashlee) was outstanding, friendly and pleasant! She asked if we had visited before (we had not) and then offered to make recommendations based on any interest areas we had. Throughout the meal, multiple servers cleared dishes, silver and took care of drinks attentively. Our server took a photo for us afterwards as well. Could not ask for more. The restaurant was clean, spacious and we had a nice two-top by the window. Tables were spaced nicely and while it was just half full on a Wednesday night, it was a lively, but not overly noisy dining room. The menu offered lots of options for any taste. The menu is not set up as a traditional Italian menu especially with choices of sides and pastas with mains as opposed to a primi, secondi, contorni style menu. However, don't let that fool you into believing this is like an Italian-American chain. The food is much better and much more authentic. I have to say that I was very pleasantly surprised - thus feeling the need to post this review. To top everything off, the prices are very reasonable and the portions generous but not overdone. I would not hesitate to return the next time I'm in the area. It's fantastic to have a nice family-run place with homemade food. Give them a try!

We went to the Broomfield location Fun place. Lively and busy. Chicken piccata is very good but a bit much on the garlic for me. Lemony and chicken was moist. Gnocchi was fantastic. Soft pillowy. Just as it should be. Pear salad was also very good. Service was also attentive and efficient considering how busy it was! Would return!

First star for taking reservations. Especially when taking a 3 year old out for dinner, you don't want take your chances with waiting for a table. Second star for attentive staff. We were greeted immediately, seated right away, and because we had our grandson with us we placed his pasta order first because he was starving. Third star for thinking ahead and knowing the menu well. The young waitress was already planning ahead with our little guy and getting him a no spill cup and Ashlee our main server was able to answer our questions and make excellent recommendations. Fourth star for the delicious meal! Husband had Chicken Parmesan. Might be one of the best piece of chicken I've ever tasted. We're picky when it comes to breading and texture. I highly recommend it! I had the chicken scallopine and it was amazing. The sauce was delicious. The portions are huge and you can easily share. I couldn't stand the idea of leaving homemade pasta behind so we took it home. The final fifth star is for ambience. This is a quaint little place that you could go to casual or dressy. Ashlee and her team were wonderful. We will return!

It's a small place so make sure to make reservations. We came here last year for my daughter's bday and she wanted to come here again. Arrived around 6:45p on a Sunday and the place was packed. (Good thing about the reservations). What we swallowed: *GARLIC BREAD: Tasty with a side of marinara sauce. Really good. *CESAR SALAD: Cold, crisp and tasty *CAPRESE SALAD: My daughter loves this and doesn't even share. lol Comes with olives on the side which are a delight. *BUTTER NOODLES: Tasty noodles, a bit bland for my taste but my daughters love ordering this. *OSOO BUCCO: Ok, this was by far the best dish ever. But it isn't a regular on the menu (IT SHOULD BE). The last time we came here it wasn't on the menu and my hubby was so bummed. He even said "I don't want to come back unless they are serving this!" It really was a delightful dish, fall off the bone delicious. *FRA DIVOLA SEAFOOD: Flavorful and spicy. I ordered this the second time around and still yummy. *EGGPLANT PARM w/ broccolini and alfredo pasta: Woah. I had a bite of this and I think this beat out my seafood pasta. Fried, crispy thin layers of eggplant. My daughters (who hate eggplant) had a bite and they both said it was tasty. I'm ordering this next time. *LAVA CAKE w/ pistachio and coconut ice cream: Yes to the delicious lava cake to top off our meal. We tried the coconut ice cream on the recommendation from our server and he was right.. it was sooo good. The pistachio was really good too. We've always had a great experience here and the servers are always so friendly to us. My daughters love it here too, that's why they always recommend coming here for their birthdays. We'll be back!
